Andleeb Zaidi was crowned Miss Universe Maharashtra 2025 at the state finals of the competition held on May 25, 2025 at the Hotel Four Points by Sheraton, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder and Miss Universe India 2024 (1st Runner-up), Pranjal Priya. At the same event, Sachi Kudale was crowned the first runner-up position, while Simran Malhotra was named the second runner-up. Andleeb will now represent the state of Maharashtra at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe India competition, scheduled to take place in the coming months.
Andleeb Zaidi is a model, actor and design graduate from NIFT Hyderabad. Born in Uttar Pradesh, she is now based in Mumbai. Standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, she brings together elegance, strength and a deep sense of purpose. With a background in accessories design and nearly a decade of experience in fashion and creative industries, she has walked the fashion runway several time and has appeared in a series of commercials. Andleeb is known for her quick wit, love for dance and her ability to bring humour into any situation. Married in 2023, her journey has been one of resilience - balancing personal trials, career breaks and the courage to begin again. After facing the loss of a pregnancy and her father in the same year, she chose to rise stronger, carrying forward both their memories and her own dreams. She is passionate about animal welfare and has personally rescued and rehabilitated animals over the years. Her belief in compassion extends to her work in women’s empowerment, where she hopes to inspire others through her own story of strength and rediscovery. Andleeb’s voice carries a powerful message: that it’s never too late to start over and reclaim your purpose - with heart, courage and conviction.
In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe India contest, representing the state of Maharashtra. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
