Anushri Satavlekar was crowned Miss Universe Gujarat 2026 on the glitzy evening of April 18, 2026, at Hyatt Hotel in Ahmedabad. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Lucky Barrot and Miss India International 2025 and former Miss Universe Gujarat, Roosh Sindhu. Alongside winning that glittering crown, she also earned the rights to represent her state, Gujarat, at the most prestigious beauty pageant in the country – Miss Universe India, to take place later this year.

Anushri Yatin Satavlekar, professionally known as Anushri Satavlekar, is an international model, journalist and advocate. She holds a Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS, University of London, where she was awarded an international postgraduate scholarship, and is also a journalism topper from the University of Mumbai. Standing at 170 cm (5 feet 7 inches), she is fluent in Marathi, Gujarati, Sanskrit and English. Her skills include mimicry, voice dubbing, and singing. Professionally, she has worked with communications agencies in the UK, contributing to strategic communication projects with the Indian High Commission in the UK, and has also worked as an investigative journalist with CNN Newsource, covering global issues such as conflict, women’s security, and misinformation. As a model, she has collaborated with brands such as L’Oréal and Nykaa and has walked at Lakmé Fashion Week and London Fashion Week for designers including Amit Aggarwal, Aisha Rao, and Satya Paul. Her advocacy for the pageant focuses on neurodivergence awareness, drawing from her lived experience of autism and ADHD.

In the coming weeks, she will be seen walking down the stage at the most anticipated beauty pageant of the country – Miss Universe India. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world.

At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2026 competition, scheduled to happen by end of this year in Puerto Rico.
