There are content creators and influencers, and then there’s Diva Dipti — a name that sounds destined for the spotlight. Whether she’s curating luxury soirées for Mercedes-Benz or sprinkling her creative stardust over campaigns for De Beers, Dipti doesn’t just design events — she choreographs experiences.
Equal parts storyteller and strategist, she believes true luxury isn’t loud — it whispers class, culture, and connection. Over an oat latte (with gold flakes, naturally), Diva Dipti lets us into her world of PR, purpose, and perfume-inspired dreams.

“Luxury” gets thrown around a lot these days — what does it really mean to you in today’s India and UAE?
To me, luxury is not about excess — it’s about experience. In today’s India and UAE, true luxury lies in thoughtfulness — bespoke experiences that celebrate culture, craftsmanship, and emotion. Whether it’s a handcrafted piece, an immersive event, or a brand story told with sincerity, luxury today is personal, conscious, and purposeful.

You’ve curated events for brands like Mercedes and De Beers — what’s the wildest or funniest request you ever got from an attendee, and how did you turn it into gold?
Oh, there are a few that could fill a coffee-table book! Once, a VIP guest at a luxury gala wanted their pet to have its own seat at the dinner table — complete with a tiny name card. Instead of saying no, I turned it into a moment — we created a mini ‘paw-tier’ section with monogrammed cushions. It became the most photographed corner of the evening — and yes, the pet behaved better than most humans!
You’ve bagged some major awards — from the Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam Award to Dadasaheb Phalke. Which one makes you do a little happy dance (and why)?
Each one holds a special place, but the Dr. Abdul Kalam Award made me emotional. It symbolizes excellence with integrity — two words that guide my every decision. To be recognized under his name felt like a reminder that passion and purpose can indeed coexist beautifully. And every award comes with a responsibility to keep doing good work for society.

If your PR pitch to a luxury brand could be delivered via a major movie quote, which movie/quote would you steal and what’s the pitch?
‘You had me at hello.’ — Jerry Maguire.
That’s my approach to branding — create a first impression so authentic and emotionally charged that your audience feels connected instantly. It’s not about selling a product; it’s about creating resonance.

If “authenticity” were a celebrity, who would it be (living or fictional), and how would they handle a tricky luxury-brand ask?
It would be Audrey Hepburn — timeless, graceful, and effortlessly real. She’d handle a tricky luxury ask with empathy and elegance — saying no so sweetly that it still feels like a yes. That’s the art of authentic PR — balancing truth with tact.

If you could design your ultimate “influencer/PR magic room,” what quirky items must be there — from lighting to décor?
Oh, I’ve dreamed of this! There’d be:
A gold-leaf mirrored wall for spontaneous content moments.
Velvet armchairs in emerald and champagne hues.
A crystal chandelier that dims with mood — from brainstorm glow to after-party sparkle.
A ‘manifestation corner’ with candles, crystals, and a vintage record player spinning jazz.
And of course — a fragrance bar. Because scent is the silent storyteller in every experience.

If luxury were a perfume, what would “Diva Dipti” smell like — and what notes would it have?
Diva Dipti would open with top notes of champagne and white jasmine — bright, confident, celebratory. The heart would reveal rose oud and cashmere musk — rich yet refined. And the base would linger with vanilla bean and a whisper of sea salt, symbolizing freedom and grounded elegance. It’s a scent that walks in before you do — but stays long after you’ve left.
What would be the title of your biography and why?
Curating Stardust. Because life, to me, is about turning fleeting moments into timeless memories — sprinkling a little magic into the ordinary. Every project, every collaboration, is a new constellation in that journey.

If you get to go on a date with a Bollywood or Hollywood star, with whom would you like to and why?
Ryan Gosling — for his quiet charm and humor. I’d love to decode what goes on behind that calm exterior. Or Ranveer Singh — for the sheer energy! Either way, the evening would have both elegance and laughter — my favorite combination.
