Dipali Riya crowned Miss Universe Jharkhand 2026

Dipali Riya was crowned Miss Universe Jharkhand 2026 on the glitzy evening of March 29, 2026, at the Tarang Water Park, Ormanjhi, Ranchi, Jharkhand. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Universe India titleholder, Manika Vishwakarma.  Alongside winning that glittering crown, she also earned the rights to represent her state, Jharkhand, at the most prestigious beauty pageant in the country – Miss Universe India, to take place later this year.

Dipali Riya hails from Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand, where she continues to hold her permanent residence. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature in 2022. Currently based in Dubai for work, she is employed as an international flight attendant and is professionally trained as an on-board firefighter and first aider, with additional expertise in customer service and hospitality. She is fluent in English and Hindi and has a strong background in dance, having achieved recognition as a state-level dancer. Her advocacy focuses on women empowerment. She is also the first married candidate to get selected for this year’s Miss Universe India competition.

In the coming weeks, she will be seen walking down the stage at the most anticipated beauty pageant of the country – Miss Universe India. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world.

At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2026 competition, scheduled to happen by end of this year in Puerto Rico.
