Dr. Anjali Pawar was crowned Miss Universe Chhattisgarh 2025 at the grand finale of the state level competition held on May 2, 2025. She will represent the state of Chhattisgarh at the upcoming edition of the Miss Universe India competition to take place in the coming months. Anjali was born in Waraseoni and is based in Raipur. She holds a degree in dental surgery and is a dentist by profession. Alongside being a dentist, she is also a meditation teacher at the Art of Living Foundation.
Dr. Anjali Pawar is a strong advocate of mental health and is committed to raising awareness about the importance of mental well-being. As Miss Universe Chhattisgarh 2025, she wants to normalise conversations around mental health, promote education on the subject in schools and work with organisations to make therapy and support more accessible. She believes no one should suffer in silence and that early awareness and open dialogue are key to building a healthier, more supportive society.
In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe India contest, representing the state of Chhattisgarh. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became of the leadings beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
