Dr. Rizul Singh from Hamirpur was crowned Miss Universe Himachal Pradesh 2025 at the state finals of the competition held on June 7, 2025 at Baantalai Hotels and Resorts. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Anushka Dutta, Miss Universe Himachal Pradesh 2024. Dr. Rizul will now represent Himachal Pradesh at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe India competition, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.

Rizul Singh is a 23-year-old doctor from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. She completed her MBBS and comes from a defence background, which gave her the opportunity to live in different parts of India and experience its cultural diversity. Born and raised in a remote village, Rizul faced several challenges growing up, including limited access to infrastructure and basic facilities. As a child, she had to walk for long hours just to reach school or the nearest station. These experiences shaped her outlook on life and motivated her to pursue a career in medicine to help communities like her own. Rizul is a polyglot and knows four languages including Hindi, English, Pahadi and Punjabi. She is passionate about animal welfare and actively works in the field of rescue and care. Alongside her profession, she also enjoys dancing and continues to explore her interests outside of medicine. Her journey reflects determination, hard work, and a strong commitment to giving back to society.

In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe India contest, representing Himachal Pradesh. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
