Grounded in Gratitude Parth Samthaan

In the ever-demanding world of showbiz, where long hours, intense schedules, and image consciousness are part of the daily grind, Parth Samthaan has carved a niche not just as a household name, but as someone who values inner balance as much as outward success. Known for his charm, expressive acting, and enviable physique, Parth opens up to Kartikya Arora in a candid, lifestyle-focused conversation — reflecting on the habits, mindset, and personal choices that keep him grounded.

The Power of Routine

Ask Parth about his mornings, and he doesn’t hesitate to reveal a ritual he follows with near-religious discipline. "Every single day, I start my morning with four to five glasses of warm water—one with lemon, one with apple cider vinegar, one plain, and one with honey," he shares. It’s a Japanese-inspired detox ritual he swears by, aimed at cleansing the digestive system and keeping his skin clear and glowing. “It’s helped me internally and externally, and I’ve been sticking to it for quite some time now.”

His breakfast, too, is non-negotiable. A fixed combination of four to five eggs (in the form of an omelet) and a bowl of oats with milk has become his daily fuel. “It’s clean, protein-rich, and I’m used to it now. I don’t really indulge in heavy or oily food in the mornings anymore.”

Fitness: A Love-Hate Discipline

Parth admits that his approach to fitness isn't always consistent—but when he's focused, he’s all in. “I go into complete fitness mode—strict diet, workout, tracking everything I eat or drink. But when I’m off it, I indulge fully—especially when it comes to sweets and desserts, my biggest weakness,” he laughs.

On most weeks, his regimen includes four to five days of weight training, with at least one day dedicated to cardio. “Being in this profession, you have to maintain your body. Weight training helps me stay in shape, and honestly, I enjoy it.”

Living in the Moment

While meditation and yoga have made brief appearances in his routine, Parth admits they didn’t stick. Instead, he finds mindfulness in a more organic way: presence. “When I’m on set, I like being in the moment. You won’t find me glued to my phone. I talk to people, connect with co-actors, and learn their stories. That’s grounding for me.”

Describing himself as someone who’s “either all in or all out,” Parth confesses he’s still navigating balance. But his inclination to engage deeply with those around him, even crew members and fans, offers a refreshing break from the otherwise glamorous façade of celebrity life.

Comfort Meets Style

When it comes to fashion, Parth prefers minimalism and comfort. “I love Mumbai’s weather because I enjoy dressing light—think tank tops, sleeveless tees, or fitted t-shirts. It’s casual but sharp, and it highlights the effort I put into staying fit.” His style is effortless, laidback, and always authentic—a reflection of someone who knows himself well and isn’t trying to follow trends blindly.

Success isn’t just about fame or fortune—it’s about connection. “That smile on someone’s face when they meet you—it does something to me. It reminds me why I do what I do.”

Self-Care: Then vs. Now

Parth admits that fame and a demanding career have made him more conscious of self-care over the years. “Earlier, I was very natural—no makeup, minimal grooming. But over time, your skin changes, your body ages, and you realize the importance of treatments and skincare. Partying, lack of sleep, it all shows.” He now balances the glamour with a behind-the-scenes discipline that keeps him camera-ready and healthy.

A Humble Mantra

If there’s one habit that has shaped both his personal and professional life, it’s humility. “Being grounded has helped me the most. I don’t differentiate between people on set—I’ll talk to a production guy the same way I talk to a co-actor. And I always make time for fans. That one moment of happiness I can give them means the world to me.”
