For the first time in history, an Indian delegate secured the highest score in the preliminary evening gown competition at the prestigious Miss International beauty pageant. This remarkable feat has been accomplished by the winner of Miss International India 2025 title, Roosh Sindhu from Nagpur.
Roosh represented India at the 63rd Miss International beauty pageant held in Tokyo and mesmerized everyone with her striking performance during the evening gown competition of the event held on November 24, 2025 at the Professional University of Beauty and Wellness. She wore an exquisite silver colored ensemble exclusively designed by ace Vietnamese fashion design team, Nha Mot. Alongside securing the first position in the evening gown segment, she also went on to place at the 8th position during the swimwear segment out of 80 participating nations. This are the highest positions achieved by any Indian delegate since 2003.
Her participation in Miss International 2025 beauty pageant was also special because it was after 13 years that an Indian delegate secured a placement at the aforementioned international event. Miss International is one of the oldest running international beauty pageants in the world.
The event is owned by International Cultural Association based in Japan. In India, the leading beauty pageant organization, Glamanand Group holds the rights to send delegates to Miss International beauty pageant. Roosh Sindhu was crowned Miss International India on August 18, 2025 in Jaipur City, Rajasthan. Her achievement has put India under the spotlight at Miss International after a hiatus of 13 years.
