Mauricio Calvo Barrera to represent Mexico at Mister Supranational 2025

Mauricio Calvo Barrera from Tabasco was named Mister Supranational Mexico at the national finals of the competition held on February 8, 2025, in Xalapa, Veracruz. He will now represent Mexico at the Mister Supranational 2025 competition, to be held in Małopolska, Poland, from June 8 to June 28. This was the fifth edition of the Mister Supranational Mexico competition under the management of the Miss Mexico Organization.

Mauricio was born in Guadalajara and completed his schooling at Tec de Monterrey High School, Subiré Business School and Pitt Meadows Secondary School in British Columbia. In 2020, he graduated with a degree in Administration and International Business from Universidad Panamericana.

He is a medal-winning swimmer and works in his family’s business, which includes real estate and a hotel. In addition, he is also a model, actor and social media influencer.

He succeeded Jairo Zait Villa Reza from Coahuila as Mister Supranational Mexico. Zait Reza was among the Top 10 finalists at last year’s Mister Supranational competition. Mexico has been participating in Mister Supranational since the competition’s inception in 2016. The first title was won by Mexico’s Diego Garcy.

Mexico is one of the most successful countries in the Mister Supranational competition, holding the longest placement streak at the event, having never been unplaced since 2016.
