Mehak Dhingra has been chosen as one of the national finalists for the biggest beauty pageant in the country – Miss Universe India 2025, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks. She appeared for the final auditions of the 2025 Miss Universe India competition held on June 15, 2025 at the Hotel Opulent by Ferns N Petals in New Delhi and made her way to the national finals.
Mehak Dhingra is a 19-year-old model from Delhi. Having a diverse educational background with a degree in Fashion Media and Communication and B.A. in Psychology, she brings together creativity and compassion in everything she does. Trained in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and Bollywood dance, Mehak has been performing since the age of three and began modelling at just 12. She has also competed at the state level in skating hockey and holds a strong passion for athletics. As a spokesperson and school anchor, she discovered the power of her voice at an early age. Mehak actively advocates for animal welfare through a fundraiser group supporting street dogs with medical care. She also contributes to Pehchaan Street School, which educates over 1,200 children from underserved communities. Coming from a close-knit family of strong women, her journey has been deeply inspired by her late grandfather, whose guidance continues to shape her path. From winning a teen beauty title in 2022 to securing the second runner-up position at the international pageant and reaching the Top 20 at a national pageant, she has grown through every experience. Her recent first runner-up title at Miss Universe Uttar Pradesh reinforced her belief in resilience. With a strong academic and creative foundation, this 5'9" tall beauty aspires to turn her name into a brand that inspires and uplifts others through purpose and authenticity.
In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe competition. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
