Saumya Verma has been chosen as one of the national finalists for the biggest beauty pageant in the country – Miss Universe India 2025, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks. She appeared for the final auditions of the 2025 Miss Universe India competition held on June 15, 2025 at the Hotel Opulent by Ferns N Petals in New Delhi and made her way to the national finals.
Saumya Verma is a 20-year-old psychology student and professional model from Delhi, standing tall at 5’9”. Passionate about both academics and fashion, she has worked with celebrated designers and brands such as Torani, Anju Modi, Biba, and Rana Gill. Saumya is known for her creative flair, with talents in painting, singing, dancing and styling, often being the go-to person for fashion and shopping advice among her friends. She has interned with a clinical psychologist, gaining insight into human emotions and the importance of mental health, a cause she actively advocates for. Deeply connected to her family and driven by gratitude, she continues to dedicate time to supporting underprivileged children and hopes to inspire others through kindness, creativity, and authenticity
In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe competition. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
