Tasneem Raza has joined hands with the Mr. India Universe competition as the Communication Coach for the year 2026, taking on the responsibility of training and mentoring the finalists in the various aspects of communication and public speaking that are essential to their journey as pageant contestants and future titleholders.
In a national pageant, communication is an important part of what sets a well-rounded candidate apart. A titleholder is expected to do much more than make a strong impression on stage. He must be able to speak confidently in interviews, interact comfortably with the media, engage with audiences, represent the brand and the organisation, and communicate his thoughts and ideas with clarity. As a national figure, his ability to connect with people from different backgrounds becomes an important part of his role.

For the winner of Mr. India Universe, these skills become even more significant as the title brings with it a range of public appearances and professional engagements. The ability to hold a conversation, respond thoughtfully, speak with confidence and conduct oneself with the right degree of grace and professionalism can shape how effectively a titleholder connects with a larger audience and represents the country.
This is the area in which Tasneem brings considerable experience to the Mr. India Universe training programme. A PR Consultant by profession, she has extensive experience in mentoring individuals in communication and personality development. Her work has focused on helping people build confidence, improve their communication and develop greater awareness of the way they present themselves in different professional and social environments.
Her experience in public relations gives her an understanding of communication beyond the pageant stage. From interacting with people and handling professional conversations to speaking in public and navigating different social settings, effective communication plays a role in almost every aspect of a public-facing career. Tasneem will bring this broader understanding to the Mr. India Universe finalists, helping them develop the confidence and skills required for the different responsibilities that come with representing a national title.
Her training will encompass important areas such as public speaking, interviews, media interactions, interpersonal communication, professional etiquette and personality development. The aim is to help the candidates become more confident, articulate and composed in their interactions, while allowing each individual to develop a communication style that feels natural and authentic to his personality.
Tasneem also understands the demands of a pageant environment from personal experience. She was a finalist at Miss Universe India 2025, giving her first-hand insight into the preparation, discipline and expectations that accompany a national pageant. This experience, together with her professional background in PR and communication mentoring, makes her a fitting addition to the Mr. India Universe 2026 training team.
As the finalists prepare for one of the most important stages of their pageant journey, Tasneem’s role will be to refine an aspect of their personalities that will remain valuable long after the competition is over. Because while a pageant may introduce a titleholder to the world through the stage, it is often his words, manner and ability to connect with people that leave a lasting impression.
