Puteri Indonesia, the biggest and oldest surviving national beauty pageant in Indonesia, returns with an all-new season. Following the historic achievements of last year’s titleholders, this year’s edition promises to be even bigger and better. The grand finale of this prestigious pageant is scheduled to take place on 2 May 2025 at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center.
The show will be broadcast on SCTV and Vidio, with Choky Sitohang and Patricia Gouw set to host the coronation night. During the national finale, the reigning titleholders - Harashta Haifa Zahra (Miss Supranational 2024 and Puteri Indonesia 2024) from West Java; Sophia Kirana (Miss International 2024 – Runner-up and Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2024) from Special Region of Yogyakarta; Ketut Parmata (Miss Cosmo 2024 and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2024) from Bali; and Melati Tedja (Puteri Indonesia Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan 2024) from East Java - will crown their successors. Joining the celebration will be the reigning Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo, both from Indonesia, as well as Miss Charm 2024, Rashmita Rasindran from Malaysia and Miss International 2024, Huỳnh Thị Thanh from Vietnam , who will also attend the coronation gala. This will be an extravagant and never-seen-before occasion as the four international beauty queens will be present on the same stage.
Forty-five of the most beautiful and talented candidates from across Indonesia have been selected to compete in the national finale. Out of these 45, only 16 contestants will advance to the semifinals following a series of preliminary events and sub-competitions. At the conclusion of the event, Indonesia’s new representatives for Miss Supranational, Miss International, Miss Cosmo and Miss Charm will be crowned. This edition of the Puteri Indonesia competition is set to be truly historic, as two reigning international beauty queens from the Puteri Indonesia organisation will relinquish their national titles on the same stage - a moment that has never occurred before in the pageant’s history.
The Puteri Indonesia competition was established in 1992 and is organised by Puteri Indonesia Charities Inc. The current national director is Raden Ayu Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani. Over the years, Puteri Indonesia has cemented its status as the most prestigious and respected beauty pageant in the country, producing several acclaimed and widely celebrated titleholders.
